Stayed there 101 days, food in El Comal was excellent, and very reasonable, night life in El Recoveco Bar featured the exceptional Lupita Hernandez, "una voz, una guitarrez," singing traditional songs. When my husband had to go to the consulate (like 99.9% of the people who go to Juarez), we did not have a place to stay. Friends recommended another hotel that was full when we got there even though we had a reservation. The taxi driver recommended Maripina. It is not a 5 star hotel, but good enough to stay... more

My husband and I had a great experience at the hotel, the staff was excellent and the Consulate was only a half a block away. I will return to this hotel. more
