Dune is a decent restaurant, but it seems completely out of place within the grounds and atmosphere of the Ocean Club. What is an otherwise elegant British Colonial property has this dark, nearly black interior with completely inadequate lighting that is supposed to be modern-Asian but it feels quite dated and disconcerting to be in all that darkness. The original Cafe Martinique is forever gone, and while we all lament it's passing, it's reincarnation here has managed to capture some of the elements of the original. I wouldn't say this is the best, or even exceptional food, however, the setting, ambience and service make up for it.
