We had a fun time at the Garden of the Silver Palm. I may put a bounty on Stuttgardt the Rooster, but it was still a great time. We stayed in the Blue apartment. It is a two bedroom, one bath, open air apartment. There are screens on the doors and windows, but no glass. You get the ambiance of... more

although the proprietor is very charming and helpful, the facilities leave much to be desired. there was no hot water during 3 of our 4 showers, the shower floor was literally black, and the overall ambience was of a third world youth hostel. however, the location was close to the shopping district. more

In Nov 2008, we took the day tour of the BVI with New Horizons. The boat was the Breakaway. I would not recommend this company and highly suggest booking through another if you are considering a day tour. Although the assistant was pleasant, the captain of the boat was not. And worst of all they pack you in like sardines!!!... more

Grand Cru now under new management and was great. The setting is beautiful, wait staff attentive and knowledgeable, food and drinks very good, inventive small plates that are also reasonably priced. We move this one to the top of our list in St. Thomas! more

My wife and I did the all day kayak-hike-snorkel tour and we had a great time. The guides are friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. VIEcotours offers both half-day and full-day excursions. I would strongly recommend the full-day tour. For the most part, the half-day tours have to accommodate large groups and follow a relatively strict itinerary. With the full day tour,... more

I can not begin to describe our experience we had with Kathleen because the day far surpasses any other experience we have ever had in 15 Cruises. We boarded this beautiful Sail Boat & Kathleen & her first mate went over all the safety precautions so we would not worry, relax & enjoy the day. the day included a open... more

This was a first time on ST Thomas for us. I booked two adjoining rooms . Building Y 2nd floor. Limited view of the harbor. My son was bitten everynight while sleeping, bedbugs? OK swimming on the bay, The restaurants were very good, friendly service and great food. Everything is expensive! To pay 9$ per person for 'energy ' extra... more

We stayed at the Galleon over New Year and I thought it was very good value. The room looked recently renovated, very bright and airy and a really good size. The airconditioning was new and not noisy at all. The fridge was a big plus to keep drinks nice and cold Patio doors to a balcony with table and chairs... more

We stayed at the Club Suites area, booked the trip through Sabine Filoni. Great time. Breakfast, Lunch and heavy appetizers were included. Easy to get to St. John from this locale. Great beach, great pool, outstanding service. No need really to ever leave the property if you do not want to. more

Jill is the BEST. We got screwed from HOTELS.COM. and Jill and Villa Olga came through for us. One little call and she had a place for us for two nights there. Walking distance to nice bars and places to eat. We felt save the whole time. And the VIEW was to die for. I'm reserving three rooms in June... more

Our unit overlooking the Harbor was fine. Clean and spacious. The beach is famous and you will not be disapointed with it. The Grapevine Grill was good for burgers and sandwiches. The continental breakfast was a joke! Bagels and sometimes coffee with no fruit and warm juice. No gift shop or onsite restaurant so stock up on fluids and snacks... more

My family and I just returned from a week at the Frenchman's Reef. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is set on a georgous cliff with spectacular views. It is definitly one of the nicest Marriotts we have been to. Before we came I read some negative reviews about the hotel. Let me tell you .. it is amazing!... more

Not a big park. For grown-ups, you could spend an hour there, but not much longer. I'm not sure if I saw much coral; it seems to be an average aquarium. However, I did have fun watching fellow tourists doing the underwater walk in those Boss helmets. If you are going there on your own (not as part of a... more

We spent two hours at Magen's Bay when our cruise ship stopped at St. Thomas. It's the most average-looking beach, with a huge crowd. I don't understand how it made its way to National Geographic's top 10 list. Some of the beaches I have been to in Hawaii and California are far better. more

The Marriott at Frenchman's Reef St Thomas was a great stay in so many ways. The staff-- from the bellhops to reception to concierge to restaurants and bartenders-- is VERY friendly and helpful. This place has some amazing views from both pools and the rooms. There is a very nice beach right on the property-- in fact, literally right outside... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful B&B in March of last year and loved it! The hospitality of the owners was wonderful! They made sure we had everything that we needed. Our recent experience at Wikked was extremely poor in every way. It has recently changed hands and has gone downhill since last year. The waiter was unpleasant and unattentive, and the food was bland and overcooked. I suspect it had been cooked some time earlier and reheated. Don't bother with this place, head over to Grand Cru next door instead. more
