We spent a week at this resort and experienced some highs (wonderful scuba and snorkeling expeditions, good yoga, pilates and aqua fit classes) and lows (really bad food at both restaurants. On our most recent trip to St. John in November of 09, (4th time) we decided to go to La Plancha del Mar for dinner. There is no beach scene, open air, or windows to see the sunset.
