Tropical Storm Gustav

Both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands remain under a hurricane warning and western Cuba is under a hurricane watch as Tropical Storm Gustav moves northwest. After bringing heavy wind and rains to Jamaica, Gustav is expected to hit the Caymans and the western tip of Cuba on Friday. Forecasters predict that Gustav will strengthen to a powerful hurricane before striking the U.S. somewhere on the Gulf Coast between Florida and Texas.

This place smells of feces and despair, and was the low point of our honeymoon. I think the turtles would be better off dead. more

Eden Rock Diving Center

We went to Eden Rock Dive center on Grand Cayman to take an afternoon shore dive. The guy running the place was evidently there to collect money, not to create return visitors. Very rude, very unaccomadating. There are many better places to spend your money on shore diving on Grand Cayman. I'd never go back. more
