For our first-time trip to Curacao we were looking for a "European style" hotel (please no casino) from where the exploration of the island would be a holiday. Floris Suite has made it all come true. Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino

I enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Marriott. The facility is clean, open, new and the staff tends to our needs. It's only 3 stories tall but spreads out. Private beach area is long but the pool is under rennovation until Dec 2009. Each night is a different food theme at the restaurant. Taxi ride from airport to hotel... more

I'm sad to say I did not stay at the Renaissance, but visited the facility and was very impressed. It is in the "downtown" section of Curacao but it's still has it's own section. So you are not disturbed by the noise of the streets. The casino is the biggest and newest. The infinity pool is great to look at,... more
