I lived in Cuba for 2 years back in the early 90's. Nothing much has changed in 16 years...not that I was expecting too much. The adage "you get what you pay for" really fits. Food was terrible. O.K. breakfast was all right but other than that i would have preferred grilled cheese sandwiches. Did look forward to one meal , fresh fish on the barbecue. When I asked for a piece and the chef reached for it all the pepper flew away. Disgusting. Laundry broke down so no fresh sheets or towels. Staff were... more

After nearly 9 weeks of reading the reviews for this hotel and the Princesa Del Mar my husband and I sided with sandals Hicacos for our honey moon(well me really, but ill credit him). I was suprsingly unbelievably happy.! This trip was by far a knock out. I would personally rate this resort a 5 all around. I break everything... more
