I went there not expecting too much since it was only a 4 star, but it wasn't too bad. Food was decent, beach was quiet and not crowded at all. Wow, what a fabulous resort!! Before leaving people who had been to Cuba before warned me about the food, the cleanliness of some places, etc.. I could not find anything to complain about when it came to this resort. To the manager (Pedro, Candy) what fabulous staff you have - they should all be proud of the work they do.... more

I'm a little lost as to where some people who have written reviews stayed or what they were expecting. As it appears they use Tripadvisor they should have been aware of the slightly lower standard of this Sandals to others, but surely the cost of this Sandals reflects the differences?!
