The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the island. You have to take a shuttle to the beach and to the harbor for the complimentary ferry to Hamilton. The service at the hotel is great. Tips are included but the servers still give great service. The hotel is very nice and clean. There are a lot of company functions... more

We just spent 6 nights at the Reefs in Bermuda. Most of the staff is great! A couple of them acted like they did not really care to anticipate needs or go out of their way!!!! We had many dinners at Coconuts (this is the part that makes the trip enjoyable and beautiful). Food was good! The rooms are a... more

Went to Bermuda for a long weekend with my partner. I had been before about 3 years ago but wanted a quick getaway from Toronto and Bermuda never fails to impress and allow us to recharge the batteries! We stayed on the Fairmont Gold Floor and we impressed with the level of service offered. The little things like the Bose... more

We stayed at the Pompano Beach Club for the third time and will do so again. The food and service is first class. Our room (#8) was recently renovated and now sports a separate sitting area. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed the new Ocean Grill and took advantage of the exchange dining program at Cambridge Beaches as well. The... more

We recently stayed at the Pompano for a week (this was our 10th time in Bermuda). The location is nice and secluded, set far back from the main road. If you like swimming in the ocean they have a HUGE swimming area (it took us 20 minutes to swim to the end of the sand bar & 20 minutes back).... more

My husband and I just returned from a relaxing four-day trip to the Pompano to celebrate our anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better place! Everything was perfect - the gourmet meals, the lovely sandy beach and the staff , who bent over backwards to accommodate. I would also like to say that Lynn, Greg and George were the... more

I read many reviews on this site before booking our break at Pompano. As it was our silver wedding anniversary I wanted it to be as special as possible and at Pompano it certainly was. We had a fantastic room (deluxe) overlooking the turquoise sea. The bed was very comfortable and the bath and shower huge. The food in both... more

We recently returned from our first trip to Bermuda, where we stayed at The Reefs. The hotel was beautiful, our room had a spectacular view, the food was incredible and the staff/service was second to none. We are already trying to find a good excuse to escape to The Reefs again and have recommended it to all of our friends.... more

We visited for a week with the main objective to be in a wedding at another nearby resort so we didn't spend all of our time at the Fairmont. Regardless, we found the service and staff so cordial and helpful. It takes a little while to get oriented when you arrive - regarding the trolleys to the beach and the... more

Returned this past Sunday from the FSH. We had a fabulous time. The location was perfect for us since we did rent mopeds. We used their on site cycle shop and the bikes and service were excellent. The hotel can be sumed up as grand and beautiful. We were able to take advantage of a hotel promotion a few weeks... more

Waterlot Inn was such a great meal that we went twice while staying at the South Hampton Princess. The caesar salad was the best both my boyfriend and I had ever had. The meat was excellant (steak and lobster tails) and the service divine. They are definitely taking the tip included seriously, and make sure to strive to give you... more

We stayed 4 nights at the South Hampton Princess and I wished we could of stayed for more! It was just beautiful (the pool, beach, restaurants, rooms, etc) and very much worth the money. Housekeeping was also wonderful (left passports, iPods out and nothing happened)... Recommend though having lots of time if asking conceige a question as they do take... more

Horseshoe Bay Beach is an absolutely great way to spend the day. Its easy to get too, a great beach and plenty of places to explore. The snack bar & drinks bar is a nice edition (the ice cream and snow cone servings at the dessert area are HUGE) and the rentals are a nice edition. The sand is just... more

I've been to Bermuda seven times; my husband (of 12 years) four. We are now officially "onions" (as was told to me by a Bermudian passenger seated next to me on the flight to Bermuda). We've just returned from a five-night stay (for the second time) at Pompano. Well, we're going back for a third time next year (and have... more

I don't have any complaint nor had any serious problem at all during our stay. I just believe you pay a lot of money for a different kind of hotel you probably wouldn't find in Bermuda otherwise. Pros: Quietness (we appreciate that a lot), Part of the staff is friendly, Average quality of facilities. Cons: Isolated location, Rooms quality under... more

Though the Reefs is in the category of higher-priced accommodations, when you look at the total deal it is a great value. We took advantage of the 400th anniversary special and received a $400 credit for staying 4 nights. The room we stayed in was beautiful and updated. The service, as already mentioned, was superb and we appreciated being called... more

My 17 year old daughter and I spent 5 days at The Reefs in April. This was my first trip to this hotel - I'd previously stayed at Cambridge Beaches (but hadn't been to Bermuda in about 15 years), and I think I liked The Reefs better. The staff was wonderful - very helpful and genuinely friendly (no empty "have... more

This is lovely hotel. Beautiful really -- a grande old dame in Southampton located at the top of a hill which provides scenic views and vistas. The location means, however, that you have to take a (complementary) trolley to their beach and a trolley to the ferry to reach the main city of Hamilton. A minor inconvenience if you simply... more
