I just came back from 6 nights in the fairmont southampton. It is good with young kids, however the first night we had a mouse in the room, so the hotel staff was nice to "upgrade" us to ocean view on the 2nd floor. This was truly a great surprise--the pictures on line do not do justice to the charm of this home. In Bermuda, many of the places tend to be a little shabby and worn out, but here, everything was not only up to date but beautifully detailed and fresh. My Husband and I just returned on July 11th after a 6 night stay at Pompano. We have been to Bermuda 8 times, but this was our first at Pompano.
