About Aeromexico

Aeroméxico traces its roots back to the founding of Aeronaves de Mexico in 1934. The de facto flag carrier of Mexico and largest airline in the country flies to over 100 destinations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Headquartered in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, Aeroméxico's main hubs are in Mexico City, Monterey, Guadalajara and Hermosillo.

Class of Service

Aeroméxico provides two classes of service on most flights.

Clase Premier

Passengers traveling in Clase Premier enjoy priority baggage handling, priority check-in and lounge access. On Aeroméxico's Boeing 767s and 777s on routes to Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, passengers also enjoy a personal video screen and angled lie-flat seats. On other aircraft, passengers enjoy larger seats with more legroom.

Economy Class

Passengers traveling in Economy Class enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service, depending on the duration of the flight.

Food and Drink

Aeroméxico provides complimentary meal and beverage service on medium- and long-haul flights. A complimentary snack and beverage is offered on short-haul flights.


Aeroméxico's Boeing 777s feature seat-back televisions for all passengers with on-demand audio and video programming, including movies, television programs, games and music channels. Other aircraft show movies on overhead screens, depending on the duration of the flight.

In-Flight Technology

On Aeroméxico's Boeing 777s and 737-700s, each Clase Premier seat has a 110V AC power outlet.

The Fleet

Aeroméxico's fleet includes the following aircraft types*:

B737-700 and -800
- There are approximately forty B737s in Aeroméxico's fleet, and each aircraft is configured with two classes of service.
B767-200ER and -300ER
- There are a handful of B767s in the Aeroméxico fleet, and they are flown in a two class configuration.
- There are a few B777s in Aeroméxico's fleet, and they have 49 seats in Clase Premier and 228 seats in Economy Class.

EMB-190 - this regional jet offers both Clase Premier and Economy Class with 11 seats and 88 seats respectively.

ERJ-145 - this regional jet seats 50 passengers in an all Economy Class configuration.

Customer Loyalty Program

Club Premier is Aeroméxico's frequent flyer loyalty program.

  • You can earn miles by flying Aeroméxico, SkyTeam partners and certain other airline partners.
  • Miles can also be accrued by purchasing products or services from numerous participating hotel and car rental partners and by using an Aeroméxico Visa or American Express card.
  • Miles can be redeemed for travel awards.
  • Miles do not expire if you accrue miles at least once during a 24-month period.
  • Membership levels are Classic Club Premier, Gold Club Premier, Platinum Club Premier and Titanio Club Premier. Classic Club Premier is the entry level for all participants. Gold and Platinum membership levels are attained by flying 50,000 and 80,000 miles, respectively, on qualifying flights in a 12-month period. You must earn at least 100,000 Kilometers for travel on Aeromexico over the last 12 months to earn your Titanio Club Premier Membership status.
    • Gold and Platinum members enjoy upgrade privileges and bonus mileage. Platinum members also enjoy lounge access.
    • Gold members are recognized at the SkyTeam Elite level.
    • Platinum members are given SkyTeam Elite Plus status when flying on SkyTeam partners and have access to a SkyTeam lounge if traveling on an international flight.
  • You can buy miles for a fee.
