Air Transat is a Canadian airline that provides service to nearly 60 destinations in 25 countries. Air Transat is a subsidiary of Transat A.T., an international tour operator, and it made its first flight in 1987. Based in Montreal,Air Transat has hubs and focus cities at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, Quebec/Jean Lesage International Airport and Calgary International Airport.

Class of Service

Air Transat provides two classes of service on its flights.

Club Class

Passengers traveling in Club Class enjoy dedicated check-in at most airports, priority baggage handling, priority access to the security checkpoints in Montreal and Vancouver and priority boarding. In addition, passengers enjoy travel kits on flights to Europe, wider seats than Economy Class and complimentary meal and beverage service.

Economy Class

Economy Class passengers enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and complimentary meal service on all flights except those to Florida. Passengers can also purchase Option Plus, which provides passengers with seat selection,priority check-in, priority baggage handling, priority access to the security checkpoints in Montreal and Vancouver and priority boarding. Additionally, each passenger purchasing Option Plus receives a snack from the Onboard Bistro, one alcoholic beverage during bar service, an upgraded meal choice and a comfort kit on select flights.

Food and Drink

Club Class passengers enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service on all flights. Economy Class passengers enjoy complimentary meal service on all flights except those to and from Florida. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are provided on all flights. Economy Class passengers may purchase snacks and alcoholic beverages from Air Transat's Onboard Bistro.

Entertainment

On flights longer than two and a half hours, Air Transat shows newly released movies, television shows and videos about your destination on overhead screens. Additionally, Air Transat's aircraft have audio programming.

Air Transat's fleet includes approximately ten A330s, which are configured to provide two classes of service and can seat up to 342 passengers.
