About ANA - All Nippon Airways

All Nippon Airways Co, known as ANA, was founded in 1952 as Japan Helicopter & Aeroplane Transports Co. One of Japan's largest airlines, it provides service domestically within Japan and internationally to Asia, Europe and North America. ANA is headquartered in Tokyo, and its hubs and focus cities include Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Osaka and Kansai.

ANA is the launch customer for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is being used on specific domestic routes within Japan and also on its first long-haul route from Tokyo Haneda to Frankfurt, Germany.

Class of Service

ANA provides up to four classes of service on its flights.

First Class

First Class passengers on international flights enjoy fully lie-flight seats, a wide range of programming on an audio and video on-demand entertainment system, digital noise-canceling headphones on flights to Europe and the U.S. (except for Hawaii), complimentary meal and beverage service, and amenity kits.

Business Class

Business Class passengers enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service, amenity kits, and noise-canceling headphones. Depending on the aircraft, Business Class passengers will have fully lie-flat seats, angled lie-flat seats or recliner seats.

Premium Economy Class

Premium Economy is available on flights between Tokyo-Haneda and Los Angeles and on flights between Tokyo-Narita and Munich, Washington D.C., Chicago, and on select aircraft to Paris, New York and Los Angeles. Premium Economy passengers enjoy wider seats and more legroom than those in the Economy cabin and complimentary noise-canceling headphones. The meal and beverage service in Premium Economy, however, is identical to the service provided in Economy.

Economy Class

Economy Class passengers on international flights enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service. The new Boeing 777-300ERs feature a greater seat pitch, individual seat-back monitors with audio and video on-demand, universal PC power outlets, iPod connectors and USB ports.

Food and Drink

Complimentary food and beverage service is provided on all international flights. On domestic flights, there are complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and depending on the time of day and duration of the flight, light meals are available for purchase in Economy Class and a complimentary snack or meal is provided to Premium passengers.

Audio and video on demand is available on select Boeing 767, 777, and 787 aircraft. A portable media player is available to Business Class passengers traveling on ANA's Boeing 737s and Airbus 320s as well as the Boeing 737 Business Jet aircraft.
