Japan Airlines, often referred to as JAL, provides service to over 70 airports in approximately 20 countries. Founded in 1951, JAL is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and it is the flag carrier of Japan. Depending on the aircraft and route, passengers also enjoy audio and video on demand and pajamas.
Passengers traveling in Executive Class enjoy lounge access, including Business Class lounges of oneworld partners if traveling on an international flight, amenity kits and complimentary beverage and either snack or meal service. Depending on the aircraft and route, passengers enjoy angled lie-flat seats or recliner seats, noise-cancelling headphones and audio and video on-demand.
Passengers traveling in Premium Economy class, which is available on select international routes, enjoy amenity kits, complimentary meal and beverage service and, depending on the aircraft, personal entertainment systems with audio and video on demand.
Passengers traveling in Economy Class on select international flights enjoy a personal entertainment system with audio and video on demand. Complimentary beverage and either snack or meal service is also provided to Economy Class passengers.
Complimentary beverage service is provided to all passengers. Complimentary meal service is provided to First Class passengers and, depending on the flight, meal or snack service is provided to Executive and Economy Class passengers.
Select international flights feature JAL's MAGIC inflight entertainment system, featuring audio and video on demand. Other aircraft have entertainment on shared overhead monitors.
Power outlets with 110v AC power are available in First, Executive and Premium Economy Classes and, depending on the aircraft, at select Economy Class seats. On select flights, First Class and Executive Class passengers may utilize JAL's laptop battery lending service.
