About Allegiant Air

Allegiant Air is an American, low-cost airline that provides all-jet service from numerous small cities in the U.S. to Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and other leisure destinations. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Las Vegas, Allegiant Air operates its hubs and focus cities at Bellingham International Airport, Charlotte County Airport (Punta Gorda), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Gerald R. Ford International Airport (Grand Rapids), Los Angeles International Airport, McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), Myrtle Beach International Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport. Allegiant Air focuses much of its schedule on bringing passengers from colder northern climates to warmer destinations in the southern United States.

Allegiant Air also provides charter services throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada, including charter services for Harrah's Entertainment between its casinos in Laughlin, Nevada and Reno, Nevada.

Class of Service

Allegiant Air has a one-class coach configuration on its flights.

• Passengers may purchase seat assignments in advance for a fee.
• Passengers may purchase priority boarding for a fee.
• There will be open seating for passengers not purchasing seat assignments. Boarding for open seating will be by number, which is assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis upon check-in.

Food and Drink

A variety of snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on every flight.

The Fleet

Allegiant Air's fleet includes the following aircraft types*:

B757

- Allegiant Air's 757 seats up to 217 passengers in coach class.

MD-82 and -83

This aircraft type makes up the bulk of Allegiant Air's fleet, with more than 50 in operation, and they can seat up to 150 passengers in coach class and have a two-by-three configuration.

MD87 and -88

- The MD-87s in Allegiant Air's fleet seat up to 130 passengers in a one-class, two-by-three configuration.
