airBaltic is a low-cost airline based in Riga, Latvia. The Latvian flag carrier was founded in 1995 and is primarilyowned by the Latvian state. airBaltic’s hub and focus cities are Riga; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Tallinn, Estonia. airBaltic flies to over 50 destinations within Europe and the Middle East.

Class of Service

airBaltic provides up to two classes of service on its flights.

Business Class

Business Class passengers enjoy fully flexible tickets, priority check-in and security control, lounge access and seating at the front of the cabin, always with an empty seat next to each passenger. Onboard, passengers traveling in Business Class enjoy the use of portable media players on long flights, complimentary meal and beverage service and amenity kits on night flights. If your flight departs from Riga airport, you can use airBaltic’s twilight check-in service and check in for your flight and drop off your luggage from 7-10 p.m. on the day before your departure.

Economy Class

Economy Class passengers can customize their experience by purchasing advance seat assignments, access to a portable media player, drinks, snacks and meals. Food and Drink

Business Class passengers enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service. Economy Class passengers can purchase drinks, snacks and meals onboard or pre-order meals if flying to or from Riga or Vilnius. Hot meals are available on flights longer than 1.5 hours, and cold meals are available on other flights.

Entertainment

Business Class passengers enjoy complimentary access to a portable media player, which features movies, films, television programming and games. Economy Class passengers can purchase access to a portable media player for a fee.

BalticMiles is the frequent flyer loyalty program of airBaltic.

  • You earn 5 Points for each Euro spent on a ticket in Economy Class and 10 Points for each Euro spent for a ticket in Business Class.
  • Points can also be accrued by purchasing products or services from participating hotel, car and retail partners.
  • Points can be redeemed for travel and other awards.
  • Reward Points expire 36 months after they are earned for Basic members. Reward Points of Executive and VIP members do not expire.
  • Membership levels are Basic, Executive and VIP. Basic is the entry level for all BalticMiles members. Executive membership is attained by obtaining 25,000 Status Points or flying 30 segments on airBaltic in a 12 month period. VIP membership is attained by obtaining 50,000 Status Points or flying 60 segments on airBaltic within a 12 month period.
    • Executive and VIP members enjoy lounge access in Riga, free advance seat requests online and an additional baggage allowance.
