Based in Seattle, it operates its main hub at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and has smaller hub operations at Portland International Airport in Oregon and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Alaska. Alaska has also expanded the reach of its route network over the past decade and it now offers trans-continental service from Seattle to the East Coast as well as a significant number of flights to Hawaii.

Horizon Air is the sister company of Alaska Airlines and provides regional service on routes within the Pacific Northwest. Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines have traditionally had a strong partnership and share the Mileage Plan frequent flyer program.
