Air India is the flag carrier of India and is owned by the Indian government. Air India’s predecessor, Tata Sons Ltd., was founded in 1932. Passengers traveling in First Class enjoy fully lie-flat seats, complimentary meal and beverage service, lounge access and amenity kits. Air India provides complimentary limousine service to and from the airport for First Class passengers traveling on select routes and fare types.
Executive Class passengers enjoy fully lie-flat seats on Air India’s B777s, angled lie-flat seats on its B747s and recliner seats on other aircraft. Passengers also enjoy lounge access, complimentary meal and beverage service and amenity kits. Air India provides complimentary limousine service to and from the airport for Executive Class passengers traveling on select routes and fare types.
Economy Class passengers receive complimentary meal and beverage service. In addition, on select aircraft, Economy Class passengers enjoy seatback entertainment or entertainment on overhead screens.
All passengers enjoy complimentary meal and beverage service on long haul flights.
Air India’s B777-300ERs have seatback entertainment systems in all classes with 350 hours of audio and video ondemand, featuring movies, games, news and music. Air India is in the process of replacing overhead screens on its other B777 and B747 aircraft with seatback entertainment systems with audio and video on demand.
First Class and Executive Class passengers on Air India’s B747s and B777s have 110V AC power ports at their seats. USB ports are available in all classes on Air India’s B777-300ERs.
