American Airlines provides a smooth check-in and security experience that exceeds other airlines. Delayed flights are a weak point for them. The flight I was on was delayed due to snow accumulation in NY. However, the sun came out, the snow melted and other flights were back on track. American Airlines personal were curt and dismissive. Gave no plausible explanation...

This review is going to include the round trip experiences. Going to Nassau was just unpleasant. The crew really didn't seem to want to be there. While it's a really short trip, the cabin crew could have at least welcomed us. Coming back was definitely not nice. The flight was 2 hours late, leaving after the next scheduled one. There...

We changed planes in Miami very quickly. Although the Key West runway is not very long, we had a great landing. We had an emergency and needed to be booked on an earlier flight to come home. It took 4 very long phone calls and $150.00 to get it arranged BUT we did.

Worst airline! We waited for three hours on a plane and we didn't get anything. They let us back into the airport after three hours. They cancelled our flight and took us to a hotel. They gave us two stops instead of one the next day, which we were booked for.

Worst experience of an airline ever. First they cancel a flight from the morning and put the people onto our flight, they claim it was a fault with the plane but with how many people there were I wouldn't be surprised if it was simply because they didn't want to send a plane with just 30 people on it when...

Because it took American Airlines 33+ hours to find our luggage and get it to us, we were unable to get to Chaco Canyon - a primary goal of our vacation last fall. We were told, upon landing, that we'd have our luggage that evening, and so booked in to a hotel to wait. Many phone calls to the airline...

I was to leave Phoenix at 7:55 PM then it was continually delayed every half hour until about 10:00 PM it was canceled due to mechanical problems having landed in Palm Springs from San Diego for emergency repairs and was stuck there for the night. So I waited another hour and a half in line to get a ticket home...

It's great to have a nonstop flight between PDX and DFW, but four hours with my knees jammed up against the back of the seat in front and a reading light or air nozzle that doesn't work makes for a pretty miserable and even a little painful flight. On one direction I had the "slightly better" seat, but it seems...

American Airlines need to read this and I hope they do. Readers, please don't be put off by this review as it is aimed more to AA than yourselves. I flew on a new A330 aircraft that was very comfortable, better than the usual 777, with more room around the foot area. The meals were tasty and the wine, although...

We had an anniversary trip to Vegas on 01/23/2016. Do to weather, our flight along with 80K others travelers were cancelled. American was great. The lady on the other end worked her magic and got us to Vegas the next day... They were awesome. I paid for an upgrade that could not be used but chose not to get it...
